101 | John:30-33 Manna | Num 11:6 | One | 66960
Ex 16:31 The house of Israel named it manna, and it was like coriander seed, white, and its taste was like wafers with honey. The people needed food to eat in the wilderness and God gave them manna. Keep in mind it was the Israelights that called it "manna", which in Hebrew means "what is it?" Exodus tells us it was like bread but different. God gave this to them until the complained about not having meat. Then in the above mentioned verse gave the enough quail to drowned in! God continued to give then manna to the time the entered the promise land. Josh 5:12 The manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year. |

104 | Reconciliation from near or afar | Ps 15:1 | One | 66839
Jenny please don’t misunderstand what I am saying. I didn’t say take it slow to say see if it works out. What I am saying is slow down to not make a bad situation worse. Another reason I didn’t just say go back to him with out reservations is I have done a lot of counseling myself and have seen husband who beat their wives. I think it is important, in cases like this, for the husband to get those issues resolved before reconciliation is made. I hope you understand now why I had reservation, it is for your protection and for the health of your marriage I made the suggestions I did. I hope consoling goes well.
105 | Jesus died go do what? | Matthew | One | 66817
One thin about your post: Yes, Jesus was separated from the Father at the cross for how long we don’t know. However let us notice His body was still on the cross, He later says, “Father into your hands I commit my spirit." So I don’t think we can say His spirit was in hell there since it never left His body and was committed to the Father. So where did Jesus go when He died? I feel the following passages answer that. Heb 9:11 ff But when Christ appeared as a high priest of the good things to come, He entered through the greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this creation; and not through the blood of goats and calves, but through His own blood, He entered the holy place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption. Heb 9:24 For Christ did not enter a holy place made with hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us; |

106 | Reconciliation from near or afar | Ps 15:1 | One | 66807
Jenny it has been about two years since I left full time ministry. What happened left a hole in my soul. A very rich person moved to the area and began attending the Church I was preaching at. He began whispering behind my back saying I was too young to be a minister. To make a long story short I was let go in the middle January, the coldest part of the year in Minnesota. On top of this I was not give and severance nor did anyone ever call to check up on me. I really wasn’t sure how my family and I would make it. A few days after this a walked out to the mailbox and there was a check from someone I never met for 300.00 dollars, the note said I am so sorry what happened to you. I hope this can help. The checks continued once it was much as a 1,000.00 dollars. Keep in mind from people I have never met in my life. The day I started my current job the checks stooped as mysteriously as they started. I said that to make a point GOD will open doors and harts to provide for His children. It loots to me that God has opened a door for you and your spouse to get back together. Here is the course I would suggest. 1. Find a church where you are now and ask to pray over this with the leaders. God will guide you in this! Open up to them some so they can help you make the right decision. Hebrews 5:14 has this to say, “But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.” Right now you need someone who is spiritual mature to help guide you, someone who can see clearly what’s good and what’s not in order to decide to move now or not. 2. If you move back I feel it’s not good to jump right back into the thick of things take your time. See a consoler as soon as you can. Date each other, but only each other, allow the feeling you had at first to rekindle. Then when the time is right, a counselor can guide you in this, renew your vows and move back in together. God Bless |

108 | Do all little ones believe? | Matt 18:6 | One | 66697
How have infants sinned? Because Adam sinned? I feel my passage from Ezekiel handled the idea of sin being passed from father to son. What I believe Romans is speaking of is a sinful nature, not Adams sin itself, I will refer you back to the Ezekiel passage if you want to know why I would presume this is refers to a nature and not the sin its self. When are infants lost? Revelation tells us at the end of time we will all be judged according to what we have done. So they would be lost when they had their own sin. I also don’t believe in “one saved always saved.” Or many other points of the TULIP theory and at this point we can agree to disagree because I pretty sure we are both familiar with the scriptures we both would use. Peace and love to you my brother. |

109 | Reconciliation after Divorce- Burning ? | Ps 15:1 | One | 66674
Ps 15:1-4A Psalm of David. O LORD, who may abide in Your tent? Who may dwell on Your holy hill? He who walks with integrity, and works righteousness, And speaks truth in his heart...But who honors those who fear the LORD; He swears to his own hurt and does not change; Let me first urge you to see a good Christian counselor in your area wherever you are. I was a full time minister for awhile and know it can be dangerous to make recommendations to people with out all the information. It is so hard to answer this because I can just see the pain in your question and realize is must be humbling to open your self up this way. To try and answer your question I think it is good, when possible, to go back to you spouse. Here is why: marriage is a convent between God, your spouse and you. God wants us to keep our convents. With that said please see someone who is a Christian consoler in your area. PS I wish I could reach through and give a hug! Your heart is good when you ask, "What does God want?" |

111 | Is baptism a work? | NT general Archive 1 | One | 66648
Why do we as people who can see what God's word says argue about Baptism? God said to do it. It was asked earlier what commands must we keep? Didn't the rich young ruler ask that question and Jesus, in essences pointed out the one thing that the young man was unwilling to do and said do this. If I left my wife and I lived in a state of adultery every one on this sight would beg be, and right fully so, to not live in that state. So why do we tell people, "You don’t need to be baptized, it not necessary." To my it is a heart matter if we love God, why wait at all?
112 | Do all little ones believe? | Matt 18:6 | One | 66635
Dear cwade I guess let me approach this from a different angle. What will ultimately condemn us or save us? Acts 4:11-12 He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone. And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved. John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. You see the way I see things is God love the world so much that he gave his son to pardon all our sins. To me the thing that condemns us is not that we have done something wrong, but that we have rejected God and His sacrifice for our sin. Every person that I see in the New and Old Testament was judged by did they believe and follow God not by whether or not they have sinned. Therefore I have to ask myself a questions: Does an infant or three year old or whom ever have the ability to reject the sacrifice Jesus made for them at Calvary. Now you might say, “Well I know some three year olds who have accepted Jesus.” I feel what they have accepted is what there parents have said about Jesus, which is very important. What I saying is I knew of Jesus when I was a child, believe I Jesus, and the molded decisions I later made. However I personal feel I was much older before I understood who Jesus was, what He did for me, and then made the decision to take up my cross and follow Him. Peace to you my brother. |

114 | Is slavery OK? (Lev 25:44) | Lev 25:44 | One | 66576
Acts 17:30 Therefore having overlooked the times of ignorance, God is now declaring to men that all people everywhere should repent, In the Old Testament we see that at times God allowed things he does not approve of like polygamy, divorce, a King over Israel, and we could go on and include slavery. So why would God change? I don’t feel God has changed I believe we have. In the Bible God sometimes giving instruction governing social practices. In other words the culture had slavery and God gave His people some instructions on how to be “good masters.” In like manner God never wanted a king over Israel but when the people demand a king God gave the one and Gave the King instructions on how to live. If you want to see a beautiful passage have how God would have slavery in the New Testament see Philemon 1:15FF For perhaps he was for this reason separated from you for a while, that you would have him back forever, no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother, especially to me, but how much more to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord. Now that we a "In Christ God expects more from us! |

When you say David was born in sin you might want to consider the following verse: Ps 22:10 Upon You I was cast from birth; You have been my God from my mother's womb. David like any good writer uses literary devices. When he say "Behold I was shapen in iniquity” he was using a exaggeration for effect. How can I say this so confidently? Consider another verse Ps 139:13 For You formed my inward parts; You wove me in my mother's womb. Therefore to me I look at what David says very differently. Also if children are not innocent of sin why does Jesus say Matt 18:3 and said, Truly I say to you, unless you are converted and become like children, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. As to some of your passages you quote about children being punished for what tier parents did yes this does happen. However look at it from a practical stand point could you see Lot trying to lead every ones children out of the city of Sodom with out there parents? I look at it like this if I go out and become a drunk lose my job, house, wife, life ect. Does my children suffer for my malfeasants? Yes! Are they guilty for my sins? I will let the prophet answer this. Ezek 18:4 Behold, all souls are Mine; the soul of the father as well as the soul of the son is Mine. The soul who sins will die. Ezek 18:20 The person who sins will die. The son will not bear the punishment for the father's iniquity, nor will the father bear the punishment for the son's iniquity; the righteousness of the righteous will be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked will be upon himself. |

116 | Why should we study the Old Testament | Rom 15:4 | One | 66541
2 Tim 3:16-17 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. (Keep in mind this was before the NT was fully written) The New Testament tells us much of God's love and plan of redemption for us. The Old Testament shows us this by telling us stories of how God dealt with His people. The two then can be blended to make the point and then show what the consequences are of not obeying. EI 1 COR 10:6 Now these things happened as examples for us, so that we would not crave evil things as they also craved. 7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written, THE PEOPLE SAT DOWN TO EAT AND DRINK, AND STOOD UP TO PLAY. 8 Nor let us act immorally, as some of them did, and twenty-three thousand fell in one day. 9 Nor let us try the Lord, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the serpents. 10 Nor grumble, as some of them did, and were destroyed by the destroyer. 11 Now these things happened to them as an example, and they were written for our instruction, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. |
