143 | What do you say? | Acts 13:39 | M.Royal | 186739
Hi steve, The question I asked was; by which law shall we be judged? Now we know that we shall not be judged by the Mosaic law for to be justified by it would compromise our salvation (Galatians 5:4). As it is written "Now therefore why tempt ye God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? (Acts 15:10,11). Here is just one example. The fourth commandment(Ex.31:14,15. Deut.17:11,12) from this it is important for us to know how we should live and and we shall be judged in the sight of God. What say you? M.Royal |

Thanks Searcher, If we therefore abide in the law of liberty, and speak and do as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty we shall be blessed in what we do (James 1:25 James 2:8,12) which is to love one another as Christ has commanded, as this is pleasing before God (1 John 3:17,22,23). Hi Kalos, According to the gospel of Christ concerning things that accompany salvation (Hebrew 6:9,10), when Paul and barnabas were sent to the gentiles, it is written "only they would that we would remember the poor" this is known as "ministration/collection for the saints (1 corinthians 16:1,2. 2 Corinthians 9:1,6,7). Further scriptures for study if you do not already have them. Acts 11:29. Romans 12:9-13. Romans 15:25-27. Please note, Ministration/Collection for the saints is not tithing. This is what God accepts as pure religion (James 1:27) M.Royal |

157 | Why do we disagree? | 1 Thessalonians | M.Royal | 186092
Hi HeirofGod As you know the word rapture is not in the bible, however the scriptures used for the rapture are your key to help you understand. 1 corinthians 15:51,52. 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17. Matthew 24:29-31 Revelation 10:7. Revelation 11:15-19. all speak about the day of the Lord and give a specific indication of a trumpet, for the sake of the rapture it is the last/seventh trumpet. Jesus stated in Matthew 24: 29-31 that this takes place after the sun and moon have been darkened, which takes place after the tribulation. The sun and moon are darkened in Revelation 8:12,13.(4th trumpet)note the next verse (14). I trust this will be helpful to you, in you quest for understanding last things Also read Joel 2:1,2,10,30,31. M.Royal |
