Greetings Biynah! Cyclist here! All praise and glory and honor be to God our Father! and to His Son Jesus Christ who thought not of Himself, but gave His own life that we might be saved and live for eternity with our Heavenly Father! I have been reading some of your posts, interesting. If it's not a problem, would you please fill in your personal profile? It helps sometimes to better understand postings when you know a litte bit about the author. You probably haven't seen any postings from me, I have been doing more reading than posting lately. When I do post I always start with praising our Heavenly Father so bear with me, I usually get to the point. Thanks! Your brother in Christ, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |

Hank, Praise the Lord for ever more! Praise Him for His excellence! Praise Him for His Greatness! Praise Him for His unconditional love for us! Praise the Lord! I will rejoice and be glad because the Lord provided salvation for us through Jesus Christ, His Son! I will praise the Lord all the day long! Just a note to say that I was conducting a search on the subject of eternity. Being the fool that I sometimes am, I've tried to imagine eternity in my fleshly mind and have been struggling with the fact that I simply cannot. What a fool I am in this. Your post on 6/16/01 helped me with this. Thank You! I will bless the Lord at all times! His praise shall continualy be in my mouth! Cyclist |

244 | Who are the "sons of God?" | OT general | Cyclist | 44711
Dear n2deep, All prasie and glory and honor to God our Father and to Jesus Christ who gave Himself for our sins! Below is a posting by Makarios form 2/20/02 that contains Scripure references. It was an answer to this very same question (The tallest man in the world had a mother and a father! Even Goliath had a place of origin (Gath) and fathered offspring. In no way are the Nephilim the product of a union between fallen angels and human women. A much better question to ask is: How do you come to the conclusion that fallen angels can procreate with women since demons are described as 'evil SPIRITS' (Matthew 8:16, 12:43-45, Mark 6:7), and angels of ANY order are not given in marriage to each other or to any created thing? (Matthew 22:30, Mark 12:25, Luke 20:35) Demons (or fallen angels) can possess an individual, but they themselves cannot procreate with another individual. Also, if demons (or fallen angels) could ever procreate with women, then how do you justify such an action, since demons are the adversaries of men? (Matthew 12:45) - Makarios) In His name, Cyclist I will bless the Lord at all times, His praise shall continually be in my mouth! |

Greetings Forum members! Cyclist here With my mouth I will give thanks abundantly to the LORD; And in the midst of many I will praise Him! Praise the LORD, for the LORD is good! Sing praises to His name, for it is lovely! I would like to get some comments from you on 2 Thess 2:7. Should we know already the mystery of lawlessness and how it is at work? Does any one know some other scripture references regarding "lawlessness" as it is used by Paul in this verse? How is the man of lawlessness being restrained? I would appreciate any comments or scripture references on this. 2 Thess 2:1 Now we request you, brethren, with regard to the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, 2 Thess 2:2 that you not be quickly shaken from your composure or be disturbed either by a spirit or a message or a letter as if from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 2 Thess 2:3 Let no one in any way deceive you, for it will not come unless the apostasy comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction, 2 Thess 2:4 who opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple of God, displaying himself as being God. 2 Thess 2:5 Do you not remember that while I was still with you, I was telling you these things? 2 Thess 2:6 And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he will be revealed. 2 Thess 2:7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 2 Thess 2:8 Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming; Thanks in advance for giving this your attention. Blessed be the name of the Lord! Cyclist |

Hello dskander! All praise and glory and honor be to God our Father! and, to His Son Jesus Christ who died for our sins! Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! you write: also to have confidence in your self to speak with him, argue with him as your friend. Could you please clarify your answer. How does your answer relate to the scriptures below? It appears that you are stating that it is nessecary to have confidence in the flesh. Phil 3:3 for we are the true circumcision, who worship in the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh, Rom 9:19 You will say to me then, "Why does He still find fault? For who resists His will?" Rom 9:20 On the contrary, who are you, O man, who answers back to God? The thing molded will not say to the molder, "Why did you make me like this," will it? Hello Luke! Cyclist here! I will bless the LORD at all times! His praise shall continualy be in my mouth! A 73 year old preacher, who has since gone to be with the Lord, told it to me this way. "If it ends up to be as the unbeliever says and we are wrong for our belief in Christ as our Savior, we still have nothing to loose. For as we are instructed in the Word of God, we think about things that are true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, of good repute, excellent and things that are worthy of praise. We have a happy heart most all of the time! Our conduct is that of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentlness and self-control. We do not kill or steal. We do not sleep with another's spouse. We obey the laws of the land. We mean no one any harm. But if the unbelivers are wrong, they have everything to loose, even if they do, by nature, those things that are good and acceptable. For they shall perish in the lake of fire for eternity because they believed not that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world." Rev 20:10 And the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are also; and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever. In the love and in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, I look forward to gaining you as a new brother! Always in Christ, Cyclist |

256 | What is a Christian? | Luke 9:32 | Cyclist | 39964
Dear JdthCstl, Praise be to God our Father who provided salvation to me through His Son Jesus Christ! For I could not have been saved through my works because, naturally, I did not want to live by the Holy Spirit but by those things which are the desires of the flesh, which are naturally against the Spirit. I am writing to you as one who is presently weaker in the faith, weaker, I mean, when compared to those that God has chosen to provide spiritual guidance for me, which are those members of this forum, Mommapbs, Tim Moran, Hank, EdB, John Reformed, and others I'm sure that I have failed to mention but do not esteem myself above them with regard to strentgh in the faith. I must admit Judith that I, again, as weaker than those others in the faith, am afraid for you. In addition, I would ask, not that I am any one in authority to ask this, that you please pray that God lead you to the truth in salvation which is provided only through faith in Jesus. I have listed the scriptures below, as one weaker in the faith than those I mentioned earlier, because I am concerned for you in your understanding of salvation. Praise you Jesus, You alone are Savior and Lord! In Christ, Cyclist Gal 1:6 I am amazed that you are so quickly deserting Him who called you by the grace of Christ, for a different gospel; Gal 1:7 which is really not another; only there are some who are disturbing you and want to distort the gospel of Christ. Gal 1:8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! Gal 1:9 As we have said before, so I say again now, if any man is preaching to you a gospel contrary to what you received, he is to be accursed! |

Dear Brother John, All praise and glory and honor be to GOD our Father who created all things for His pleasure! While I have breath, I shall praise the LORD! Thanks for the welcome back. Congradulations on the new addition to your family! God blessed us with a new grand daighter 4 months ago. Being a grandparent is a true blessing! I have enjoyed sharing with you on this subject, in fact, I continued on in the Word of GOD and recieved more understanding through the Word (Eph. 1:3,4,5) and your posts, of the which I thank you for. Thank you for taking time with me on this. You are a true brother in Christ. I've reached a new level of convidence and boldness in the Holy Spirit that I had not known before through this discussion. Not confidence in myself, God forbid! for there is no confidence in the flesh, but the confidence that God is in control and has predestinated everything! There is apsolutely nothing that He does not know or see or hear, and, that He has not preordained. Lord please forgive me of any former doubts, I do repent! Eph 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, Eph 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him. In love Eph 1:5 He predestined us to adoption as sons through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the kind intention of His will, Thank you again my brother. I eagerly look forward to sharing further with you on the forum in other areas. I'm so glad that I'm a part of the family of GOD, joint heirs with Jesus, cleansed by His blood. Praise be GOD, and to His Son Jesus Christ whom He predestined to die for our sins. God's blessings to you and your family. Always, your brother in Christ, Cyclist |

258 | The Gospel the sole means of salvation? | Rom 1:16 | Cyclist | 39729
Brother John Reformed, Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD! Praise ye the LORD! Thank you for posting that hymn. I've sung it meself several times but never really took time to understand it, until now. I've read your posting to me 4 times now. I've read Romans 9,10,11 twice through, very slowly so I could absorb it. I've listened to Romans 8,9,10,11 in my car, I have the KJV on CD, on the way to the office and I will listen on the way home. You post "Nevertheless God preordains what soever happens." and "Every one who God elected unto salvation from the beginning will be saved." I have 2 questions that are presented to increase my understanding and not to challenge you, and, certainly not the LORD my GOD. 1 Does God change his plans along the way? 1 Chr 21:15 And God sent an angel to Jerusalem to destroy it; but as he was about to destroy it, the LORD saw and was sorry over the calamity, and said to the destroying angel, "It is enough; now relax your hand." And the angel of the LORD was standing by the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite. Amos 7:6 The LORD changed His mind about this. "This too shall not be," said the Lord GOD. Jonah 3:10 When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And He did not do it. 2 Would you please give more detail, if possible, on your interpretation of Romans 9? If I understand correctly from the point you made in your post, God is raising up the anti-Christ for His purpose as he did pharaoh, and, God raised up satan for His purpose. Scripture reference would help. I must go out of town tomorrow on business so I will look for your posting on Friday 3/22. Always your brother in Christ Jesus, my Savior and my Lord. I love Him!
