102 | Why is history repeated in Genesis? | Bible general Archive 2 | Chusarcik | 143429
Stories with the same themes are repeated many times in the Bible, but with different characters. Some examples in Genesis are the cases of 3 different barren wives, Sarah, Rebekah and Rachel. Also sibling rivalry between a good and evil brother, Cane and Abel, Isaac and Ishmael, Jacob and Esau. Another example is patriarchs passing their wives off as sisters when passing through a pagan town. What is the purpose of the repeated stories with different characters?

106 | Don't have those tools-need more info | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 69436
That doesn't help because I don't have any of these. I have a few maps in my Bible and I've tried to do that but they're so tiny I had a hard time looking at today's map and calculating exactly where each of these would be today. Anyway, I'm not sure I'm coming up with the right information and do not want to learn it incorrectly. Cany anyone answer my original question with the exact locations or tell me of a website that clearly shows this information? Thanks, Chusarcik
107 | Is this information correct? | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 69451
Thanks, I just tried that and it looks like Babylon was in Iraq, the Persian empire was in Iran, Greek Macedonia was in Jordan and I can't figure out what all the pagan Roman empire covered. Can someone confirm whether this is right and provide corrections if needed and the location of the Roman empire? I'm sorry to keep asking, but I don't want to get this wrong and the maps I keep searching are too close up or far away for me to be sure I'm matching everything up correctly. Thanks, Chusarcik

109 | Clarification of entering the temple | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71709
In Revelation 15:8 it says no one can enter the temple until the seven plagues are complete. Does this mean no one can enter heaven at all until then or is the temple just a part of heaven that cannot be entered until then?
110 | Need more clarification | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71760
Does it mean no one can enter into Heaven at all during this time or only that they cannot enter the temple that is in Heaven? What I'm unclear about is whether the temple means all of Heaven or if the temple is a specific part of Heaven that cannot be entered during the last 7 plagues. Are some people already in Heaven at this time and no others can enter during the last 7 plagues? I think this is what you meant by there is a time when the wicked can no longer be saved. Please clarify. Chusarcik Thanks,Chusarcik |

111 | That helps and now another question | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 71767
Thankyou for your response. This helps clarify my question about whether the temple in heaven is all of heaven. Regarding the second part of your answer that no one has gone to Heaven I thought that to be absent in the body was to be present with Christ according to the Bible. Where do Christians temporarily go while waiting for their glorified bodies if not Heaven? There's probably an obvious answer but I haven't studied the subject that much. Are you a messianic Jew? Thankyou for your help. Chusarcik |

113 | Heaven be entered during bowl judgments? | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72576
Revelation 15:8 says no one can enter the temple in heaven until the seven plagues of the seven bowl plagues are finished. Does this mean no human can enter heaven at all during this time and if so, why? And if no human can enter heaven does it mean they have not ever entered heaven and will not until the 7 plagues are done or only that they cannot enter during the time the 7 plagues are poured out? I asked a similar question last week and in reviewing the answers am becoming more confused by this. Can anyone shed some light on this topic?
114 | Making sure I understand your meaning | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72640
Are you saying that in general, throughout history no one has entered into heaven and will be able to after Jesus' 2nd coming. About Jesus no longer petitioning for man during the 7 plagues, if this is the case, why does it state in plagues 4 and 5 that the people still wouldn't repent, as if they are still able to repent? Would you let me know if I'm understanding your info correctly? Thankyou very much for your help, Chusarcik
115 | Need more clarification | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72772
I think Reve chp 22 verse 11 means that people have a choice in following good or evil. Hebrews 12:17 doesn't say Esau is not forgiven. It says he couldn't get his blessing back and would suffer the consequences of that choice. Genesis 6:3 says God will only contend with man during his lifetime on earth, in otherwords you must choose while on earth. So none of these seem to say God sometimes does not forgive truly repentent people. Anyway, back to my original question, what I'm really trying to find out, is why no one can enter heaven until the bowl judgments in Rev. chp 15 and 16 are completed. Can anyone directly and clearly explain what that means and answer that specific question? Chusarcik |

116 | Want opinions on when rapture occure | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 72989
I would like some opinions on whether Christians will be raptured before the tribulation, in the middle of the tribulation, after the tribulation. I am studying Revelation and do not have an opinion at this time, and am interested in what others who have studied the subject extensively have to say. I am specifically interested in answers supported by scripture so please provide the verses that substantiate your opinion. Thanks, Chusarcik |

117 | Who won't be alive during the 1000 years | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 73339
Revelation 20:5 says those who had not taken the mark of the beast came to life and reigned with Christ for 1,000 years. Then verse 6 says, "The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. Who is this group of people who doesn't come to life until the 1,000 years are over? At first glance I assume those who are alive and will reign during the 1,0000 years are all Christians throughout the ages and so it must be non believers who are not alive during the 1,000 years but come to life at the end of the 1,000 years to face their judgment. Can anyone answer this question? Thanks, Chusarcik |

118 | Again who are the dead in Rev 20:5 | Bible general Archive 1 | Chusarcik | 73388
CDBJ, Thankyou, that's good information and helps clarify the passage, but I didn't see the answer to my question. The question again is, who are the dead who didn't come to life until the end of the 1,000 years? the "dead" who didn't come to life until the end of the 1,000 years? thanks, Chusarcik |
