Dear Emeth, There is at least two other possibilities, aside from concurrence and indifference: ignorance (not in the negative connotation of the word, but simply having no answer to give). I myself my fit in this third category, but I would have to admit to being in a fourth category, as well: lassitude. A lot of lengthy, topical questions take a lot of time to ferret through the presuppositions. When I see presuppositional issues, I cannot honestly answer the original question without dealing with those issues. However, sometimes I just don't have the energy left in me to do a proper job of it -- even if it would be appreciated. :-) I need to apologize, for to asking you to greater diligence in searching through the database, than I have been willing to do in even reading through your posts. That is neither respectful, nor considerate. Nonetheless, you will, indeed, find a lot of discussion over the years that might be of value to you. Since you are willing to go back through the various Lockman threads -- and I encourage you to use the advanced search which has a Google search option -- I will go back to your original post and read it through carefully. If I can add anything constructively to the responses you have already had, I will post them. In Him, Doc |

Doc, Yes, there are many reasons for not answering, or not answering in detail. I appologize if I was misunderstood, or incomplete. Hopefully my responses to others will clarify that we are "Likeminded" on much of what you say here. |
