1 | any preaching during satan's 1000 yrs | Bible general Archive 2 | Searcher56 | 95542
Scripture ... Rev 20:1-10 (vs 2) .......... "1000 years that satan will be set free" is a twist of Scripture. Satan was bound for 1000 years (vs 2) and we don't know if thre was any preaching during the time Satan was loose for an unknown length of time. If you believe the churh will go thru the tribulation on if the Holy Spirit is no longer on earth. If you see that the first ressurrection (vs 5) as being a partial rapture ... because only those "who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand" (vs 4) .. then you could say He is on earth. Greetings Searcher, I most certainly agree! There is nothing in Revelation that states that Satan will be released, to go free, for 1,000 years. - Makarios |

see 1Th 4:13-18 and 2Th 2:8 Satan is loosened for a season as is in Rev. but the rightous are already in heaven waiting for the Holy city to come down. During this time the saints judge the fallen angels 1Cor 6:3

Greetings Candy Lee, I do not see any 'direct' mention of Satan in 1 Thess. 4:13-18 or 2 Thess. 2:8, and neither of these passages of Scripture support the "loosing" of Satan as stated in Revelation, or that the righteous are in heaven, or that the saints will judge the fallen angels during this time. You are coming to many conclusions that are NOT based upon Scripture. Blessings to you, Makarios |

Makarios,1Th 4: 13-18 is on Christ second comming. See verse16 the dead in christ rise first, verse 17 those alive and remaining are called up to meet him in the clouds. These are the 144,000 living saints on the earth when christ comes who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus Christ, see rev12:17, rev14:12, rev22:14, Thus the importance in keeping Gods commandments which have never been done away with.See Mt5:19 , 19:17, 22:40, 10:19 Lk 1:6 and most important of all,Jn14:21 and Jn15:10. You want to know if there is any preaching during the 1000 years. There is no Bible evidence of that either.Who is destroyed by the brightness of his comming, see 2 th 2:8 it is the wicked. Rev. says that there are two resurections ,the resurection of the rightous and the wicked live not till a 1000 years are done.Rev 20:4 ...lived and reigned with Christ a Thousand years. verse 5 But the rest of the dead lived not untill the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. The second is the resurrection of the wicked and it is here that satan goes out to decieve the nations.See Rev22:11.There is more to the end time info than what is in Rev. other references are in Ps, Is, Eze, Dan. and the letters Paul rote to the churches just to name a few. I hope that clarified that there is no preching during satans 1000 years becuse all the saved or as they are also called, saints are with Christ. Let me know if you find some Bible text to support preaching during satans 1000 years, sounds like catholic doctrine the preaching to lost souls which Rev 22:11 refutes that teaching. I could say much more but that would bring in catholic doctrine which most of it is without scripture support. A little food for thought, the seal of God that seals his people before the plaques, what is it? Ez 20:12 Who changed the seventh day sabbath that God blessed and hallowed on the seventh day, see creation story in Gen.Where in the Bible does it say it was changed? See Jn 14:21 and Jn 15:10.Why is the fourth commandment written with the first word being REMEMBER? Do you think he knew we would forget it or someone would try to change it? What are your thoughts on it, I'd like to know. Thanks for writting me back and as always may the love of Christ abide in you always, your sister in Christ, CL 1Cor 6:3 is the verse that talks about us judging angels. Almost forgot to put that in ,sorry.

Candy Lee, I agree that 1 Thess. 4:13-18 is speaking of Christ's Second Coming. However, I see no Scriptural connection between 1 Thess. 4:13-18, the 144,000 saints (Rev. 14), Rev. 12:17, 14:12 or even 22:14.. You know, Scripture leads us (by itself) to conclusions, just by reading within the context. Perhaps we should let Scripture come to certain conclusions without making conclusions for Scripture. Blessings to you, Makarios |
