Greeetings, As Makarios there are many aspects of your remarks I could address that show you truly have no idea of what the bible says but I will only address one thing. Your comment " a loving god (far be it for me to think i can think anything like god) would never doom so many "heathens" to death year after year." God did not comdemn any one to death. We condemn ourselves. All God asks of us is that we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and live according to the principles set forth in the bible. We are the ones who choose to not honor His request, thus condemning ourselves to death. prayon |

presume i know nothing of this book and you shall be mistaken. Condemnation only makes sense if you know that you are being disobedient. As we have heard this is the only religion so have many others, they tell thier children, obedient god fearing humans all over the planet. The author must not have forseen the idea that some day people wouldn't read or hear about the bible because it would become the enemy. Innocent youths brought up on the wrong path following happy fruitful lives for a so-called different god when simply put under a different light goes to purgatory? I think not. And who speaks for god? Who validates this but christ himself? Did he not find corruption and mispreachings through his walking in life here on earth? Did he not alter the laws and stance of God? Far past time for our book to get an upgrade |
