I have read the contexts carefully. I have studied greek, and do not just read the english. I stated that we would disagree about the interpretation, which we do. I do appreciate your zeal for the word of God, and keep it up. God Bless greentwiga |

Greentwiga There is no way using standard accepted rules and standards of language to assume they are talking about a ministry office rather than age. Check the various translations, do you think the NASB misinterpreted this to deceive us about the truth? If you call the difference between the normal general understanding of this verse and yours is merely a difference in interpretation then in effect aren’t you saying reading the Bible and interpreting it is a personal matter? Doesn’t that violate the verse that says no prophecy of scripture (which really includes all of scripture) was given for personal interpretation? 2 Peter 1:20 I actually have no objection to the ordination of women but the verses you offer to support your position are totally without merit.
