I think that many things could be said about it. But, because the original words (in greek) are "TETELESTAĆ" the concept is that a total payment has been done in full by the death of Christ. When Jesus said "All is finished" or "all is accomplished", we must understand that the main purpose of God in sending His Son on earth has been done completely. | ||||||
