1 | Is God really a restorer of things ? | Bible general Archive 1 | Searching 4Him | 70734 | ||
I have committed Adultry againt God and my wife and I need help in spiritually dealing with it. I may lose my wife and family beause of it, I did not intentionally do this, I just used bad judgement. The girl was 17 and I am 55. There are human reasons, but a sin is a sin. I don't want to lose all I have and sometimes, i have good days an bad days dealing withit. You see I've never humbled myself to the degree I have to at this time. I have always been in control of me and now I have no control over what will happen. I am in fatih based church, but its only been aabout 90 days since I've had to act in this way. I have court because of it and I want to know if GOD will really forgive me and restore my family and all the things I have lost, if I seek His kingdom first. My faith is strong sometimes and weak at other times.Besides that I need as much prayer as possible. Thank you Thomas Council elevator51@yahoo.com |

Searching4Him, You are undoubtedly going througha very difficult and trying period. Do not despair. This forum is really not set up to provide the kind of mature Christian counselling that need, which is hands on and in person. Try to find someone now and don't put it off. The bible is full of stories of men and women who sinned seriously, repented and were restored to grace, but even then there was a price to pay. I have no doubt that some on this forum could attest to a similar pattern in their own lives. But what you need is competent qualified help. We can pray for you, your family and the young woman, but this is not a counselling forum. Please seek competent counselling in your community and know that God can and will forgive a repentent sinner, but as you already seem to know what you are going through will not likely be a painless process nor one without some kind of loss. I will pray for you. Emmaus |
