1 | Egnatain Way? | Bible general Archive 1 | prayon | 66147
Greetings Emmaus, Idon't think that that is what this is referring to. I have "Holman Bood of Biblical charts, Maps and Reconstructions" and on the maps of the missionary journeys of Paul it has a route mapped on it from the Adriatic Sea through Thessalonica, Apollonia, Philippi to Byzantium on the Black Sea. On the key to the map it labels it "Route of the Egnatain Way". This would have to be, I believe, around the time of Paul. St Ignatius was much later. prayon

Greetings Emmaus, Thanks a lot for the info. I wonder why Holman's put the route on the maps of Pauls missionary trips which were done in the 1st century when the Egnatain Route was not built until the 2nd century? prayon
