Justme: You can find out all about the HCSB and read it online at the following website. (www.broadmanholman.com/hcsb/default.asp) I purchased a copy of it last year. I am very pleased with it. I find it to be a highly accurate and reliable translation. I read from it every day. It has already become one of my top favorite, most used translations. Check it out at the above website. If you're interested, you can purchase a copy of it for as little as 3.95 (paperback) at (www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/home_page/6672877) It is also available online, complete with concordance, at (http://bible.crosswalk.com/) |

Kalos: I wanted to know badenought I looked it up! Holman Christian Standard Bible. I read sone verses. My question is not directed at you but Bible Publishers. WHY ANOTHER ENGLISH VERSION? I think my wife and I have about 13 different versions now. By the way in my most modest but humble opinion The Willians New Testament is a treasure. This was published first in 1937. Holman was assigned the Copyrights in 1965, and 1966. Then in 1986 Holman got complete rights to this most spectular New Testament. Have you got one or seen one? Whem I was In Dr. Willian Cobel's New Testament Class at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary some how he arranged so we could but copies. I consider this one of my treasured books. Thanks for the fun! agape, justme |
