1 | MIXED MARRIAGES ? | Bible general Archive 1 | Jungleman | 49505
Read Deut 7. GOD was serious that no one should defile Israels faith so he forbid them to marry anyone who did not worship him (which meant anyone who was not an Israelite). The purpose for this law was not the race of the other nations but the fact that they did not acknowledge GOD and the only one and true GOD. Today, modern Israel is anyone who is a saved christian so regarless of your race, as long as 2 christians 1 man and 1 woman want to get married, before GOD they are fine. It is inappropriate however for a christian to marry someone who is not a christian. (2 corinth 6:14)
2 | MIXED MARRIAGES ? | Bible general Archive 1 | 2ndSamuel22 | 49511
Greetings fellow believers!! Let us not forget, that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was descended from a mixed marriage: Boaz(Jew) and Ruth(Moabitess). They begat Jesse, who begat Obed, who begat David. Gal 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek,...for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Gal 3:29 And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham's descendants, heirs according to promise. Once we take on the identity of Christ, then this earthsuit we wear doesn't mean a thing, because we are not going to be wearing it when we get to heaven. Glory to God forever!! 2nd Samuel 22 |
