Romans 1 v 19-32 says that, "since what may be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For since the creation of the world God's invinsible qualities- his eternal power and divine nature- have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse. For although they knew God .....therefore God gave them over to the sinful desires of there hearts.........." From creation God has put into every Man a Desire to Know him and honour him. That is why every man is searching for something to higher than he is to worship. The question is this, who spoke to Abraham about God before he learnt to follow His ways? People that never heard about Christ had a consciousness of God in them. That they never obeyed Him is not an excuse. Just like those who will not obey the Gospel will not have an excuse. |
