Can you suggest good reference books towards building a good Christian library? I understand that numbers in Hebrew have meanings: i.e., 16 is the number oflove, 17 is the number for victory, etc. Where can I find this information? | ||||||

Browse ChristianBook.com and request the CBD catalog. You probably will want an Exhaustive Stong's Concordance for searching for words but it is indexed on the KJV so you will need a KJV even if you prefer a different translation. There are some short definitions of Greek, Aramaic and Hebrew words with the concordance. There are newer versions of the Brown Driver Briggs Hebrew lexicon and Thayer's Greek lexicon that help find the words by the strong number if you want more definitions to read. Or you could just do the look up in the interlinear search at studylight.org and click on the word you want the definitions of. An Oxford Bible Atlas might help give geographical perspective. You might ask your pastor to recommend a commentary. | ||||||
