1 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | punkiedo | 112390
This WHOLE passage and the next: Do you believe that you will inherit God's kingdom? Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house: Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. If you believe you will inherit God's Kingdom then... 1 Cor 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. 1 Cor 15:51 Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 1 Cor 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. 1 Cor 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. Rom 2:9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; Rom 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: Rom 2:11 For there is no respect of persons with God. Acts 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. Luke 12:20 But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? Luke 12:21 So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. Luke 12:23 The life is more than meat, and the body is more than raiment. Basically with this verse I am saying look this is my opinnion if you don't agree with it, come up with more than one scripture to back you up. 2 Cor 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. The next thing I will tell you is this verse. Honestly I don't care how I get to heaven just that I do ok? I kind of feel like you are trying to argue, and I am not for that. So if this doesn't answer your question you need to search the word for YOURSELF 2Tim 2:15 Study to show THYSELF approved unto God. (emphasis added). 1 Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; 1 Cor 1:28 And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: 1 Cor 1:29 That no flesh should glory in his presence. 3 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | punkiedo | 112532
Can you see your soul? NO! Your flesh returns to dust your soul is invisible and therefore cannot die. Can you see the wind? Can you see God? NO! Can they die? NO! Can you see the devil? NO! Can he die? NO! The spiritual cannot die. Now there have been times in the bible where the WORD soul has been used to describe a person. Such as "the soul that sinneth dies" or another translation says "the person who sins will die". The soul itself cannot die. It is eternal. Immortal. It is a piece of God sort of speak. When God was talking to Adam he was speaking of a physical death. Yon know what though, this is my last post to you, because you are REALLY trying to argue which I really don't care to do. IF YOU STILL HAVE A PROBLEM WITH WHAT I HAVE SAID TAKE IT TO GOD. ASK GOD ABOUT IT. I have given the best answer I could and you still attempt to get a "rise" out of me. READ THE BIBLE. |

4 | where do people go when they die | 1 Thess 4:16 | jlpangilinan | 112824
Whoaa! My question to you is very simple, dont think that everyone will just nod to anything that you put even there is no Bible passages. What I ask to you is to explain this verse, if you really believed that man has a soul instead of a man is a soul, where did God said to adam that his soul will go somewhere else? Ge 3:19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return. Ge 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. When God breathed into adam nostril it become a living soul not "man have soul". Those are simple question my friend that if you cannot answer dont hide yourself and feel offended, theres a lot of thought question out there. If someone did believed in God ask you the same question and you fail to answer, do you think you have a chace to convert them? No! The scriptures has to say with this! 1Pe 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear: "be ready always to give an answer to every man" if you cannot, as you said READ THE BIBLE God bless, |
