Emmaus, Greetings and thank you for your response. But God dwells in the flesh of Jesus because Jesus' flesh is not from dust. It is the Word made flesh ( John 1:1 ). In the Temple of Jerusalem, God's glory not God dwells in it ( I think; not so sure ).And in Exodus 25:8, God dwells among the people not in the Tabernacle. It think it means, God's presence was with them. And if I may add, in Roman 7:14, our flesh is sold as slave to sin. God and sin are like oil and water that will never mix. How will then the Holy Spirit dwells in our sinful body. God bless Ngop |

Greetings Ngob! May I ask a question my friend? Where does Scripture say that God and sin will never mix? The reason I ask is because it seems that many have made sin to be greater than God and God cannot be in it's presence. But, Scripture never actually says this is the case. To me, it is one of those Christian Urban Legends! :-) Consider the implications of the statement! If God cannot dwell in the presence of sin, how can He dwell in this sinful fallen world? He would have to be stuck in Heaven where He could not be touched by sin. :-) Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
