2 | question about baptism | Rom 6:4 | kalos | 166733 | ||
"Buried with him by baptism" Offhand I do not recall a Bible verse that "states that baptism must be of total submersion". But consider these verses. Ro 6:4 KJV Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. Col 2:12 KJV Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead. In the natural, how do you bury a person? Do you sprinkle dirt on him? Do you pour it on his head? OR do you completely cover the person with dirt? |
