I am having a senior moment. Where is the verse in the Bible that deals with the sin nature being passed to the man and not the woman. Jesus did not have a human Father, etc. Thanks in advance. |

Hi, RevDano... Welcome to the forum! There are a variety of places that speak of this doctrine. It is called imputation. Adam was the federal head of the human race. By God's decree, Adam's sin was imputed (accounted as having been done by) all of his descendants. "Our first parents, by this sin, fell from their original righteousness and communion with God, and we in them whereby death came upon all: all becoming dead in sin, and wholly defiled in all the faculties and parts of soul and body. (Romans 3:23; Romans 5:12, etc; Titus 1:15; Genesis 6:5; Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:10-19)" --London Baptist Confession of Faith, 1689, Chapter 6, Paragraph 2 In Him, Doc |
