1 | God is like the wind is this biblical | Acts 2:2 | Girl | 158602 | ||
I was told as a child, that God is like the wind, you cant see Him but you can see what he is doing all around you. Now my child asked the question! The problem is I told my child the same thing but cant find a clear Bible reference that tells me where the statement is biblically valid. |

"Like the wind" refers to the Holy Spirit. Be careful - We live in a time of great apostacy and heresy in the church. We very much create God in our own image - an abomination. Ask the Father in the Name of Jesus to teach you of Him, in order that you may teach your child well. Learn of Him from His Holy Word, the Bible. Surely, He who created the world (including the wind) in 6 days, and rested on the 7th, the God of the old and new testaments, can be described more fully than "wind". I trust that by simply telling the truth of what He has mean to you, and what the Bible teaches of Him, you will have a splendid answer to begin your child on his or her journey of faith, a journey ultimately in the hands of the Saviour. Perhaps go to the Father in prayer, and ask in the name of Jesus, to know how Mary talked to Jesus of the Father, or how Hannah spoke to baby Samuel about God. She only had Samuel until he was weaned - I wonder what she told him during that time? I suspect, wind wasn't part of her testimony. |
