Okay I have found that John uses water as a symbol of new life, I'm I wrong to think that he does this because in that part of the world water is life and if you didn't have it, then it ment certain death. No you right, water is essential in our natural life just as the truth of Jesus Christ is essential in our spiritual life. Your questions are welcomed but if I might I suggest you study and pray before you ask. We have to learn to depend on the Holy Spirit to lead us to truth not some forum. EdB |
