1 | Jesus laying down of His powers | Luke 5:22 | ebrain | 163297
Read Phil 2:5-13. Jesus limited himself to the limitations that we all have, so that he could show us how God intended us to behave towards the Lord in the first place. To find out just how this is done, see how he did it, by reading the following verses of Scripture. John 1:18. 5:19 and 30. 7:16-17. 11:41b-42. 14:8-11, especially verse 10. Acts 2:22. and John 20:21-22. Not my will, but thine be done. I hope that this is of help. May the Lord bless you, and keep you safe. Edwin Brain. |

3 | Jesus laying down of His powers | Luke 5:22 | ebrain | 163352
Jesus knew the Pharisees thoughts, because His Father revealed them to Him, this the Father was able to do because Jesus allways maintained an attitude towards His Father of "not my will, but thine be done", however, it dose not follow that if you do the same that you also be able to read other peoples thoughts. All that you would be doing, is giving God permission to use you in any way He may wish. The manner in which He manifests Himself through you, and what He reveals to you, is entirely up to Him. |
