1 | Why was there a need for simon | Luke 23:26 | DocTrinsograce | 240062
Hi, cem... I believe that jlhetrick was asking a question, not making an assertion. I do not think that the Romans were concerned about our Lord Jesus Christ's lack of ability to carry the cross, so much as they were wanting to hasten the process and to insure that He remained alive for the crucifixion itself. Note that "why" questions are the most difficult of questions -- particularly those that delve into the intents and purposes of the Godhead. Without those things being specifically revealed in the Word, we cannot know them (cf Deuteronomy 29:29). Speculation might be interesting, but it will remain just that, along with all the issues that accompany it. In Him, Doc PS There is a convention in the forum -- certainly not a requirement -- that when one asks an individual a question, simply mark it as a note. That way, the general forum questions show up properly at the top of the home page, and do not get lost in the hubbub of general interaction. After all, when posting something as a follow up to someone else's note, they will be properly notified. |

1 cor. 2:6-7 There are things that I have been told to tell and show you Isaiah 44:6-8 Understanding, knowledge is given by the son Matt 11: 25-27 not only can we know them. He promised before that day we would (Lebanon) What I am about share with you was designed as a threshing instrument it will cause separation Based upon the words spoken by the Father, Son and Holy spirit Rev 21: 5-8 Matt 10:8 Rev 22:: 17, Allowing these words to speak for them selves, and knowing it is a common practice in the evangelistic community to record sermons and then sell to those who desire to hear the word. According to the words of the book all these churches would be dismissed if Christ were to return this day, If you fail to believe those things being specifically revealed in the words of he Father Son and the Holy Spirit. Than the chance of you believing that message give to me for the body of Christ is anything more than interesting speculation is slim to none. 1Thessalonians 2:9-13 Heb. 10;26-27 We are not physical beings having a spiritual experience, but spiritual being having a physical experience. We are all perfect in spirit in that our spirit is of the Father, but there is no perfection in our flesh. We were spiritual beings first, before being placed into the flesh and will eventually return to that state of pure spirit and all the imperfections and temptations that comes with the flesh will like the flesh will one day pass away but we are to be Christ like and stay true to our true nature which is our spiritual nature giving it domain over our physical nature where the two may have conflict who does love a cold glass of water on a hot day, yet this is a desire of your flesh it does not challenge your spiritual nature, but when the flesh desires something like adultery or homosexuality which is a direct conflict with our true nature then we must give domain to our spiritual nature not give in to our flesh. the burdens of the flesh is something we all must contend with the thorn in your flesh may vary but we all share this burden, Christ was no exsepction, the imperfection in the flesh of Christ was strength, although he walked perfect in spirit and in faith,We as believers must be willing to step out of the crowd and bare each others cross just as simon did for Christ so that all of us who believe may receive the gift of salvation and one day return to the conciseness of one, that being God and or heaven, the spirit lives on forever in one place or the other the flesh and its short coming are temporary, by being true to your self, that being your spiritual nature in this life allows to become a holy ghost one might say. look to Christ, he moved like a spirit or a ghost passing thru unopened doors, yet still was allowed to enjoy those thing we all enjoy about the flesh taste touch smell he ate honeycomb and fish and they took him and felt him, yet he could come and go as a spirit a holy spirit having the best of both worlds without the burden or the short comings of flesh. imagine having whatever you wanted and as much as you wanted, the things you think you value in this life would have very little value there. I love steak but wants steak everyday. you would finds the things we took for granit are the things we will value the loved one who made and the memory of those who didn't make it yet we loved the love of the father and son and being able to return the love that was given to us by both, worshiping him and living in his glory, there would be no need for faith for all would see and know him in his full glory. The water is priceless and must be given freely to charge a penny is to much and all the money in the world is not enough. When you find a church that abides by the will of the Father and is giving he water freely and you claim that church as yours, than you must tithe 10 percent first and for most this is not negoable and is viewed as a righteous offering unto the lord. These two things are the bases of a true church. The fathers and the children should each other accountable to the words of God Malachi 4:6
