1 | All of us prodigals untill saved ! | Luke 15:20 | lakerep | 130356
Is this the best example of all non believers who become believers or what? All of us have a choice to come home and recieve our birthright. Not as children being sprinkled with water but as lost becoming found by our own choosing.
2 | All of us prodigals untill saved ! | Luke 15:20 | JCrichton | 130364
Hi, lakerep! I think that you miss the point of the prodigal son... it is not about choice it is about recognition of being at odds with the Father and being humble enough to ask for forgiveness: it is not about claiming a birth right; rather, it is about humility and submision to God's Authority! Though you are partially right as far as the fact that it is our responsibility to seek God's forgiveness and mercy! God Bless! Angel |

3 | All of us prodigals untill saved ! | Luke 15:20 | lakerep | 130486
The father in this parrable represents God and the son away from home any who are lost and find their way home. The other son is a representation of a quote un-quote christian who has worked his whole life for the Fathers favor only to find out that his brother is accepted by faith alone. Believ in the Lord Jesus Christ and Thou shalt be saved. In Love ::)
4 | All of us prodigals untill saved ! | Luke 15:20 | JCrichton | 130596
"but as lost becoming found by our own choosing." Hi, Lakerep! I was not challenging your understanding of this Scripture passage... my post was in reference to you final statement (see quote above)... as I read it it seems to be inferring that we choose the terms of salvation... Though it is our right to choose life or death, we cannot determine the terms: we accept Jesus at His terms or we forfeit the Gift! God Bless! Angel |
