in the verse just before that it says that :This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.This is obviously referring to the last day when Jesus will return.In matthew 25 : 41 Jesus is telling te parable of the goats and the sheep. he gives a good insight of how the judgment day will go. he says that the goats (those who where not made children of God) to depart from him and go to the eternal fire prepared for them. this is the same as what paul described and yes it will most certainly mean eternal death for them. | ||||||
