"Leaven" (or yeast), in and of itself, does nothing to one's doctrine. It was the "leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees" that Jesus was warning against. In other words, beware of the words that come out of their mouth and of their actions, since they would sew no good thing. - Makarios |

Are we to be aware of the "Pharisees and Sadducees" today? And if so, who are they? I watch TV on Sunday mornings and there are all kinds of teachers on there teaching all kinds of doctrines, is God Pleased with that? | ||||||

Scripture ... Matt 7:15-23, 16:1ff , Acts 17:11, Gal 1:6-12, Jude 1:4 ... The Bible is Right, God's evening to you, Some are unaware, even tho we should be of who is preaching the gospel. Some like the feeling they get when they are with the Jim Jones types. There are many false teachers ... they sound good. God is not pleased with them, nor those who follow. I wouldn't be able to list all the false teachers. The followers may be denied access to eternal life because the Lord never knew them. That is the saddest part.
