1 | Who is "she who is in labor?" | Mic 5:3 | Mommapbs | 98551
Greetings Searcher - I do see what you are suggesting but I'm wondering if this is a phropetic passage referencing Israel, the remnant and possibly the Church. Consider Paul's words, "My children, with whom I am again in labor until Christ is formed in you--" Gal 4:19 Just something to think about . . . mommapbs |

2 | Who is "she who is in labor?" | Mic 5:3 | Ray | 98646
Hi mommapbs, It's always nice to have you here to give us something to think about. Micah 5:3, "Therefore, He will give them [up] UNTIL THE TIME when she who is in labor has borne a *Child. Then the remainder of His brethren will return to the sons of Israel." Galatians 4:8, "However, AT THAT TIME, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. But NOW that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again?" Galatians 5:1, "It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery." 1) When we come to know God we know that this One will be our peace. Galatians 4:8, "However, AT THAT TIME, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods." Micah 5:4, "Because AT THAT TIME [Lit. now] He will be great to the ends of the earth. Thanks for your thoughts, mommapbs. From the heart, Ray |
