Greetings Searcher - I've been pondering this verse lately and wonder about the last phrase: "What will you do at the end of it?" Is this a challenge to believers when confronted with apostacy? Do we recognize spiritual leaders who are ruling by their own authority? Do you see a lack of emphasis on personal Bible Study in our midst - ie. Christians are satisfied with the "spoon feeding" of others instead of searching out the Truth that God wants to personally impart to them? I'd be interested in knowing what you think. Blessings on your day. mommapbs |

mommapbs ... not only are we to challenge believers (Gal 1), but the leaders (Act 17:11). Lack of personal Bible study is a cause that lets people follow the leader (Heb 5:11-14). We ALL must speak up when we hear error ... even if it is an honest mistake. I have spoken up several times. I ask if I am the only one. Most of the time, I am. We wonder if people are not listening or they are afraid of speaking to the speaker. Searcher |
