1 | Is it biblical to hide when evil comes? | Prov 3:7 | BradK | 161391
Hi RTA, I can find 3 verses in Proverbs that may be what you're thinking of: Prov. 3:7, "Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD and turn away from evil." Prov. 4:27 "Do not turn to the right nor to the left; Turn your foot from evil." Prov. 14:16, "A wise man is cautious and turns away from evil, But a fool is arrogant and careless." I hope this helps, BradK |

2 | Is it biblical to hide when evil comes? | Prov 3:7 | Ladyborg | 161398
All those good passages speak to running from evil as from Satan. Is that what you were asking about? The short version of your question seems you were asking more about having courage and strength, rather than fleeing evil. One of my favorite verses is Dan 11:32: "...the people who know their God will display strength and take action." There are MANY more passages regarding strength and courage in the Lord. |
