2 | bible say anything re: dinosaurs? | Prov 16:4 | stjohn | 189204
Hi Mikie, You might like to read Job 41:1-10 and see what you think. Some think that it is referring to a dinosaur. I would not go so far as to speculate, but we don't really know..... And, some also believe that Job is the oldest book in the Bible. If that is true, maybe it is a dino... There are other places in the Bible that talk about Leviathan. Just type it in the Get Bible Text,. Search word(s): box, at the right of the page. It surely doesn't always refer to a dino, and we are not sure if it does at all, but you can see the difference pretty easily. You might also like to look Leviathan up in the dictionary, it has more then one meaning. Hope you enjoy the forum! God Bless. John |

3 | bible say anything re: dinosaurs? | Prov 16:4 | lionheart | 189206
st.john. Good day to you. Job 4:10,11 makes no inference to dinosaurs. It does say lion though. The closest to anything I know that might be prehistoric might be found in Job 3:8,Psalm 104:26 and Isaiah 27:1 where the word leviathen is used and these were very large sea creatures. Hope I added something constructive here. In Him, lionheart |

Dear Lionheart; Please read my post carefully before you correct. I did not site Job 4:10 -11 I did however site, Job 41:1-10 hear it is, you can read it yourself and tell me please what it is referring to? the word in v1 is Leviathan not [leviathen] by the way, and you can look it up in the Bible dictionary for your self. And, if you [read] my post carefully you will see that I did not make any claim's. I did however say that [some say] it reefers to dinosaurs. Thank you anway for your response. Job 41:1 "Can you draw out Leviathan with a fishhook? Or press down his tongue with a cord? 2 "Can you put a rope in his nose Or pierce his jaw with a hook? 3 "Will he make many supplications to you, Or will he speak to you soft words? 4 "Will he make a covenant with you? Will you take him for a servant forever? 5 "Will you play with him as with a bird, Or will you bind him for your maidens? 6 "Will the traders bargain over him? Will they divide him among the merchants? 7 "Can you fill his skin with harpoons, Or his head with fishing spears? 8 "Lay your hand on him; Remember the battle; you will not do it again! 9 "Behold, your expectation is false; Will you be laid low even at the sight of him? 10 "No one is so fierce that he dares to arouse him;" God bless brother.
