1 | Healing | Ps 115:3 | Hank | 161012
Brad, in connection with what you have said, and said well, in your post, I'd like to relate something I heard recently on a "seed-faith" program on one of the cable networks. The whole program was nothing but a thinly-disguised push to get viewers to send money to these Word of Faith charlatans. But here's the kicker that astounded me. The viewers were told, "Now don't expect to be prosperous, don't expect to be healed, don't expect to be successful unless you are willing to send in your seed-faith money." And if that wasn't enough, he continued with, "GOD IS NOT AUTHORIZED TO BLESS YOU UNLESS YOU ARE WILLING TO SHOW YOUR FAITH BY SENDING IN YOUR SEED-FAITH MONEY." ..... So I ask, if this is not pure blasphemy, then what is? I would like to ask this religious fake, who had no more scruples about taking money from people than Jesse James had in taking it from banks, just who "authorizes" God to do anything. --Hank

Hank: That scenario is to the very core, presuming on God! WOF junk like this has indeed relegated God to being at our beck-and-call, i.e. a glorified vending machine. It is man-centered theology at its' worse:-( BradK |
