1 | Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit? | Acts | gracefull | 67280
According to the Greek Lexicon I use, yes, they are used interchangably. Also 'Spirit of Truth' and 'Spirit of God'. |

2 | Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit? | Acts | Ray | 67298
Hi gracefull, Unlike ghost and spirit which have the same Greek word in the manuscripts; Truth and God are not the same word. I was going to enter into the discussion my leaning toward 'Spirit of truth'. But you have caused me to look again at the Greek and so I offer this suggestion and compromise or mixture of thoughts. I will capitalize Truth if you will make "Helper" lower case. I trust that you would be open to leaving 1 John 4:6b as it is written, "By this we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error." From the heart, Ray |
