i have a follow up for this ... The bible says when two or more christians, religious people meet I (God ) will be there . So if you blashpheme in that occasion are you not doing an sin as explained above ? |

Scripture ... Deut 17:2-7 (vs 6), 19:15-21 (vs 15); Matt 18:15-20 (vv 16, 20); 2 Cor 13:1-3 (vs 1); 1 Tim 5:19; Heb 10:28 ... The above Scripture says two or three gathered (witnesses) all about judgment. The Lord is there also in Deut 19:17 (Matt 18:20). Are you saying He is not there when we are alone? |

The bible has examples of godly people who prayed alone and received God's blessing. God hears us when we pray alone, but when making judgements against another Christian should be done in pairs. One fellow believer may grant a judgement that is not sound and may even discourage repentance. Two involved in the judgement can pray, seek God's guidance, and agree to an appropriate judgement that will encourage repentance and restoration. |
