I understand what the passage means. What I am commenting on is the change in ENGLISH from the NASB77 to the NASB Updated. The sentence is no longer a proper sentence as I read it. Compare the WORDING of the two translations. Does the new sentence make sentence sense? | ||||||

You're probably having trouble with the word "that" (second occurrence) in there. The use of the word "that" like that ... :-) ... is not in common parlance, but it is grammatical. The KJV uses that construction as well. | ||||||
