1 | Thought for the Day,Think on this | Jeremiah | lionheart | 242155 | ||
Jer 29:11-13 Been thinking about this for some time now and I no longer can keep silent. 2 Tim 3 tells the Church will come on hard times and we're seeing that more than ever today. We are seeing unparalleled persecution of Our brothers and sisters in Africa and the Middle East. Here in America it is no longer as popular as it once was. Have we stopped believing who God says we are IJn 3:1-3. We get told that we are delusional And that our faith is weak and blind. We know differently though don't we. Heb 11:1-3,Phil 4:13. Brothers and sisters we will not get a pass on this one. Will we let them shut us up or are going to stand up and declare God and His Word. There is no time for half measures. Are we willing to count the cost To stand for Jesus know matter the consequences . Stand or Die,. Which will it be? In Him; lionheart |

Lionheart I hear you but I think in many cases our faith, because of where we live, is weak. Like the seed that fell on the rock as in Mark 4:5. Too much seed is falling on stoney ground in the America today. We have made it too easy to believe we are Christians. The faith today springs up fast but will not sustain the believer through a crisis. Faith must be built, it requires a good foundation built on the word of God, not the promise of man, which many times never gets built. Then it also needs to be tried and tested and made to grow. Faith like David had facing Goliath only can only come from testing, facing the bear and lion. David had built upon the foundation of faith within him and could stand upon it. Christians in other countries are often required to stand upon their faith every day. Their faith is constantly being built that is how they are able to stand the persecution. |
