Greetings Casiv! I don't have any problem with it personally! :-) This verse does have a verb, but the verb isn't "ceased". To me, both Mt. 11:13 and Lk. 16:16 simply say that all of the prophets pointed toward the Kingdom of God, which was being fulfilled in Christ. But, neither says that prophecy as such has ceased. 1 Cor. 12-14 would not make any sense if prophecy ceased at John. Why give detailed instructions concerning a gift that is no longer valid?
