1 | Let Thy word, I pray, be confirmed. | 1 Kin 8:26 | kalos | 140781 | ||
Doc: I have found the same thing. You are correct. Therefore, when those added pronouns (that are not specifically in the Greek or Hebrew text) are counted, the result is of questionable value in the counting game. Besides, I am not really into numerology or numerical codes. Moreover the Bible is the WORD of God. It is not the NUMBERS of God. Lastly, I don't know how one can legitimately include in the count those pronouns that are included in the verb. In like manner, if/when I say "Come here" or "Sit down", the pronoun "you" is implied, but not spoken or written. I wouldn't count an implied pronoun when the word itself does not appear in the text. But, it is said, if you have imagination as a grain of sesame seed, nothing shall be impossible to you. Grace to you, Kalos |

Kalos... let me guess... that last quote must have been out of Ephesians 7... or maybe Obediah 2? Wait... wait... something after the first chapter of Jude? :-) |
