Perhaps your question, shogun, "Can a person have some crazy theology and still be an effective soldier for the Messiah? could just as well be answered by another question: Could a physician who ignores the orthodox teachings of his profession and habitually prescribes snake oil and other witch's brews be an effective physician? --Hank
2 | Cities of Judah or Cities of Demons? | Genesis | userdoe215 | 8501
As someone who suffers from a chronic/acute and painful ailment, I must say that it is an interesting question! If a doctor is taught "modern" methods of cause and treatment, even though recent findings and research indicate a completely different cause, shall I stack them in my "snack oil" bin? But these same physicians are still effective for many things. So you see, "snake oil" and "witch's brew" have a different meaning to me-self. But shall I reject them? No. Can I enlighten them with what I have learned? Yes...if they are humble doctors (which, by the way, one of mine is). So how do I answer that! :) God bless you brother Hank! Blessings! |
