1 | Gen 2 Term Lord God | Gen 2:1 | sfraker | 232619
In Chapter 1 the writer says "God" created and in Chapter 2 after verse 3 the writer uses Lord God. I am assuming this indicates that now that the earth is inhabited, that now God/Jesus has something to be lord of. Is there a better answer? |

2 | Gen 2 Term Lord God | Gen 2:1 | mantale | 232641
To understand Lord vs Lord God and why. We need to know when God say's finished, he mean's finished, completly complete, from beginning to end. He knows our end. We are still going through what he created in the beginning. So while creating his work he is a God. By the very thing he has created in all his work, it made him the king of kings, the almighty, rightjeously justifiable in every why. Giving him the title, The Lord God. If it said Lord God through out,the word of God would fall to pieces. or he would just be claimming for himself as Lord God. We as well as Christ Jesus are his witnesses of his creation and authourity to be Lord God.
