1 | The heavens are part of this creation | Gen 1:8 | Morant61 | 13279
Greetings Nolan! All I can say to this post is, "Amen!" I work with a man who studied marine biology in college. He and I discuss this topic every now and then. One night, as we were talking, I had a new ideal. I don't get these very often. Here it is: If evolution (macro) is a naturally occuring process, why aren't there new species being discovered all the time. We find a few undiscovered species every now and then, but on a whole, we lose thousands of species every year, but find none. How long could that continue? If evolution were true, shouldn't there at least be a balance? Just a thought! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | The heavens are part of this creation | Gen 1:8 | Makarios | 13284
Hello Tim! Yes, that is exactly true! :) Why aren't there new species being discovered all the time? Also, what is mutation? Is it possible for the genetic makeup of a reptile to ever be capable of coming up with "new information" in that makeup that would turn that reptile into a bird? And here is the real question: Why is it that everything on earth seems to be in a 'degenerative state' instead of a 'state' that is constantly redefining itself? If this is true (and scientifically proven) that our world is in a degenerative state, then does this not point to a Creation where everything began? Blessings to you! --Nolan |

3 | The heavens are part of this creation | Gen 1:8 | Morant61 | 13288
Greetings Nolan! Exactly! I've read articles where evolutionist dismissed the application of the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics to evolution. However, it seems to apply to every system, even political. And the data supports it, since there seems to be a constant decline in species rather than a balance or a net increase. I've heard some good ones over the years. My wife and I were watching a documentary once about a certain symbiotic relationship between a species of bat and plant. It turns out that the plant grows high in the trees of the Amazon. It's seeds need to get to the ground. What happens is that these species of bat eats the fruit of the plant, which contains a natural laxative, and then deposits the seeds on the ground along with it's waste. This program actually said, "The plant, realizing that it needed to get it's seeds to the ground, developed this laxative so that the bat would deposit it's seeds on the ground." Is that a riot or what? The plant planned it? This is a perfect example of a designed relationship, yet evolutionists turn it into a thinking plant. That require much more faith than believing in the resurrection of Christ. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
