1 | David selected 5 stones. Why five? | Gen 1:1 | tyger | 147634
One possible answer is this. David said "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted" 1 Sam 17:45. The name of the Lord is Jesus. How man letters does the name Jesus have? I'm not saying that's the reason, but David came "in the name of the Lord of hosts". If nothing else, it's something to think about.
2 | David selected 5 stones. Why five? | Gen 1:1 | Hank | 147651
