1 | Are gentiles required circumcision Ez44 | Galatians | Joaz | 186698
Yes, I am in the process of addressing this issue with that very book as well as Romans and Hebrews. However it can be quite involved since he's preoccupied with the Peshitta (eastern churches claim that the scriptures were originally written in aramaic, not koine greek) Though there may be something to it in studying the relationship of the word usages there still seems very much a disingenuous twisting the original premise of the writings of Paul. I am addressing it but still in the meantime I was wondering if anyone can expound on this one particular verse just so it can be addressed objectively for what it was exactly portending. I have checked with Keil and Delitzch and other commentaries but so far barely anyone has given any full/clear exposition on this one if at all (besides, I would like to know this one for myself) Thanks
2 | Are gentiles required circumcision Ez44 | Not Specified | Joaz | 186603
This is a quote from a person who is into the hebrew roots movement. He is quoting Ezekiel 44:9 as a Messianic prophecy that seems to indicate the necessity of gentiles of the future to have not just the circumcision of the heart, but of the flesh as well. Any insight on this particular verse and how it does/may/may not coorespond to the New Covenant? "It is not that Moses or circumcision is not important, it is. Notice what is required in the Messianic Kingdom as prophecied by Ezekiel: Eze 44:9 ASV Thus saith the Lord Jehovah, No foreigner, uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh, shall enter into my sanctuary, of any foreigners that are among the children of Israel. |
