61 | jcsav, What does does Acts 2:41 mean? | 1 Cor 13:8 | jcsav | 142635
If the 3000 didn't receive the Holy Spirit,(remember that is not what I said, I said , the bible) it would mean what it says. You can be added to the visible Church by believing (and yes you can believe and not receive the Holy Ghost) but you can not be a part of the invisible (Body of Christ) until you recieve the Holy Ghost. If Poto and Cabengo did speak in a Language only they Knew. This is not the Holy Ghost (Spirit) so why listen to them. Listen to Paul and the other Apostles. Paul says that the speaker do not understand. The Spirit gives the utterance to speak. It do not come from ones own brain. |

62 | jcsav, what does it mean to obey Ac 2:38 | 1 Cor 13:8 | jcsav | 142641
Who do you think it was speaking in Acts 2:38. Was it Peter or the Holy Spirit? Did it come from Peter or God. We was discussing Tongues. But my focus is on "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of you sins and YOU SHALL RECIEVE THE GIFT OF THE HOLY GHOST. KJV. If you have not done so. and I have obeyed. Then why do you judge me.
63 | jcsav, why say we're not new creatures? | 2 Cor 5:17 | jcsav | 146535
That is correct. All that have received the Holy Ghost is a new creature. But, remember what Jesus said, what which is born of Spirit is Spirit. What is born of Flesh is Flesh. Spirit do not change what Flesh is. Though I have the Holy Ghost. I still have a choose, to follow after the Flesh, or the Spirit. I have a war, within me. That would not be the case, if my Flesh was somehow changed.
64 | Oneness and the word "person" | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112662
That is nowhere close to Webster. You stated what the qualities and attributes of a Person is. You did not state what a Person is. A person has a personality. God has a Personality (one) and he is a Spirit. More than one would make a Split personality even without a body.
65 | Tongues a necessary sign of salvation? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112722
Kalos, You are confussing the "Gift of Tongues" and the "Sign".They are not the same.
66 | Gift or Sign? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112876
Why are you so interested in the use of tongues? I am sure you don't have the problem the Corinthians had.And those of us who speak, Knows the distinction. |

67 | Why isn't the gift of tongues a sign? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112915

68 | Why isn't the gift of tongues a sign? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 112918
The section You stated is, conduct, during Worship. It do not apply if God decides to Come through and fill individuals with the Holy Ghost. When God refilled the early Church in Acts do you think someone stood up and said, Wait, you all, we can only do this by two are three? and we must have an interpretor. You know, this is like me reading a fight manual and then going out and telling a pilot how to fly a plane. It is that foolish.
69 | jcsav, Is following Scripture foolish? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 113021
No, No ,No. That is not what I was saying. Sorry if that is what it sounded like. I meant that it is foolish for someone that do not understand tongues to read about it in the Bible and then try to give instruction to Churches that have this experience. These Churches have Pastors and Bishops, and they are not ignorent of what Paul said.
70 | jcsav, What doctrine do you put down? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 113023
I do not understand you Question. If there is a question that I did not answer that you feel I'm not, willing to. Ask it again. I do not have the time to address every single one of them. I am doing the best I can.
71 | Whose Son is He? | 2 Cor 13:14 | jcsav | 114526
Ray Please give ID# of tread. The one you are attached to I did not use the word "spirit". As for the rest of your question. You ask who is speaking in the passages you stated. Jesus is (or The Father that is within him). Christ is the "Son of Man" and he is the "Son of God" he is, God manifested in flesh. |

74 | Speaking in tongues? Use by women? | Gal 3:28 | jcsav | 122361
Both men and women speak in tongues when they are filled with the Holy Ghost, just as they did in the upper room (There was women present). This still happens in the same manner today. This is not to be confessed with the gift of tongues. There is a difference.
75 | what is salvation and how does it work ? | Eph 2:8 | jcsav | 146447
There are too many warning in the New Testament to the believer that would be totally unnecessary, if there was no danger of falling. Believers can fall from the grace of God, Heb 12:15-17, 6:6-10, 4:11, Rev. 2:4-5, 3:5, 3:14-22. Long as you are walking in the faith you do have eternal security, John 10:26, Heb. 13:5-6, Phil 2:12-13. I want it to be known that this is NOT a Calvinistic approach. I have back myself with Scripture. This is a Biblical doctrine.
76 | Do you have to know Christ? | Eph 2:8 | jcsav | 146733
The Pastor that you speak of, may have meant those who had not heard The Gospel (sense I did not hear him, I can not tell), even then, you can not say that they know nothing, about the Lord. According to Romans, and parts of Psalms all creation speaks of him, so even they, are without excuse. God will judge them in Rightousness. But, those who hear and reject the Gospel is condemned already. If a Christian (or one called so) do not Love his brother. How can he Love God?
77 | Doctrine Divides? | 2 Tim 4:3 | jcsav | 120314
Kalos, How about this (John 9:39) "Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgement(as a Separator, in order that there may be separation between those who believe in Me and those who reject Me) to make the sightless see and to make those who see become blind." So is it the doctrine that separates, or is it Jesus?
78 | jcsav, what believers are not saved? | James 2:19 | jcsav | 147132
All believers that: Take away fom the Book (Rev 19) The fearful (Rev 21:8) That hateth his brother (1Jo 3:15) Do not keep his Commandments (1Jo 2;4) The Offend, and them that do iniquity (Mat 13:41-42) That Lust after Women (Mat 5:28, 29) Angry with his brother, or say to his brother, Reca (Mat 5:22) The List goes on. |

79 | What is your definition of a believer? | James 2:19 | jcsav | 147161
lionheart, I know what a True believer really is. But we have some on this forum that have take believing to mean, not action, but inaction. And try to use faith to Justify, that lack of action. No child of God will end up in hell. But everyone that call himself a believer, is not. I had to speak to Seacher, in one way. And to you in another.I will but it to you this way. Was the Scriptures that I used to a believers. or to non- believers. Non-believers is already condemned.
