21 | Is is right to call money a seed? | NT general Archive 1 | casiv | 21924
Hello, The Bible says that money is the root of all evil. I think the parable that prayon was talking about is the parable of the sower and it is not about money. In my opinion if you want to call money a seed then perhaps the seed may be a seed of evil, since the root of all evil is money. What do you think? I would say preachers have no Biblical right at all to call money a seed, but this is my opinion and I would stay clear of beggars asking for your money. I believe if they teach the word they will be taken care of and will not have to ask for money. Hope this helps. Peace,Casiv |

Romans 14:10 - But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgement seat of Christ. This seems hard to understand. What do you think? |

23 | Does sexual lust have roots in money? | NT general Archive 1 | casiv | 24148
Hi BobY and Bless You in the Fathers Love, Thanks for your response. I never felt like you were jumping on me but thanks for saying you were not. We must test the spirits and check scripture with scripture, I like to think of it as crossing your t's and dotting your i's. Thank you also for teaching and reminding me that we have many translations done by men and they all don't say or mean the same things. Anyway, since the the love of money is the root of all evil(1Tim6:10 KJV) and is the verse which started our conversation, I felt it should be our starting point to figure how sexual lust fits into the the picture. I started by looking up the words "love" and "money" in the original Greek language, as they were written in, in 1Tim6:10 KJV. I looked them up in the Strongs Concordance and both words reference the same number in Greek which is 5365. The Strongs number 5365 in the Greek is philarguria, from 5366; avarice:-love of money. The Strongs number 5366 in the Greek is philarguros, from 5384 and 696; fond of silver(money), i.e. avaricious:-covetous. The Strongs number 5384 in the Greek is philos, prop. dear, i.e. a friend; act. fond, i.e. friendly(still as a noun, an associate, neighbor, etc.):-friend. The Strongs number 696 in the Greek is arguros from argos(shining); silver(the metal, in the articles or coin: silver. There is a well known scholar I like, who was quoted saying,"The first occurrence of a word, or an Expression, or an utterance is the key to its subsequent usage and meaning; or atleast a guide as to the essential point connected with it.The first occurrence of words, expressions, and utterances are generally essential to their interpretation. This is a law we have long since noticed, and have never yet found it to fail." In agreeance with what the scholar has stated and since in English the two words are different by definition, I went to the first usage of the words "love" and "money" in the Bible. First occurrence Gen 27:4, in the Strongs, the Hebrew word for "love" is 'ahab, number 157 - a prim. root to have affection for (sexually or otherwise):-(be-) love(-d,-ly,-r), like, friend. First occurrence Gen 17:12, in the Strongs, the Hebrew word for "money" is keceph, number 3701 -from 3700; silver (from its pale color); by impl. money:- money, price, silver(-ling). Hebrew number 3700 is kacaph - a prim. root; prop. to become pale, i.e. (by impl.) to pine after; also to fear:-(have) desire, be greedy, long, sore. I believe satan wants to be Jesus and will appear as a "false jesus"(Rev 13:11 - "...like a lamb and he spake as a dragon.") and because I believe he is everything associated with the root of all evil, as the love of money(greed, power, envy, jealousy). I believe that the lust of the flesh is directly tied into evil through the original language and the first occurrences in the Bible for the words "love" and "money" in the meanings we have been given, transliterated into English. I also thought it was interesting that within the verse you quoted, 1John2:16, it is written,"lust of the flesh", "lust of the eyes", and " the pride of life" all associate very well with greed, power, envy, and jealousy. This is what I believe, I hope this helps. Peace in Faith and Hope and in the Love of the Father and Son, Casiv |

26 | Is Lamec a descendant of Seth or Cain? | Genesis | casiv | 18970
Good seed vs. bad seed. There are two Lamech's to confuse the seed lines. MATT 13:35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, "I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world." MATT 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and His disciples came unto Him, saying "Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field." MATT 13:37 He answered," and said unto them," He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; MATT 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 1 JOHN 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil; whosoever doeth not righteuosness is not of God, neither he the loveth not his brother. 1 JOHN 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another, 1 JOHN 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore he slew him? Because his own works were evil, and his brothers's righteous. The tares are still poisonous and are still killing the wheat today. They are copy cats and hide in genealogies, but you still see them in the things of the world. |

27 | The mark on Cain is the mark of beast? | Genesis | casiv | 19139
Matt 13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. Matt 13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, "By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see and and shall not perceive: Matt 13:15 For this peoples heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them. Mark 4:13 And He said unto them," Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables? Rom 11:8 According as it is written, " God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear"; unto this day. Rom 11:9 And David saith," Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: Rom 11:10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway." Rom 11:11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the gentiles; for to provoke them to jealousy. Eze 3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto Me: for all the house of Israel are impudent and hardhearted. |

28 | How can we understand Genesis 3:15? | Genesis | casiv | 25576
Hello Rebekah, We recently discussed Gen 3:15 which was asked by someone named quester. The answer is alittle lengthy and I wanted to help you find it. Up in the top left is a search that says,"questions/notes on Verse," if you type in Gen 3:5 it will take you to the thread you are looking for. Please let me know if you have problems and I will try to help further. Peace, casiv |

29 | Gen.3:15 | Gen 3:15 | casiv | 24162
Hello Quester, I support the other answers but would like to add more. My references are to the text of the King James Authorized Version. When a figure of speech is employed(like in Gen3:15) it is for the purpose of expressing the truth more impressively: and is intended to be a figure of something much more real than the letter of the word. The one used in verse Gen 3:15 is for the purpose of emphasising the truth and the reality of what is said. When it is said in verse 3:15,"thou shalt bruise His heel", it cannot mean His literal heel of flesh and blood, but suffering, more temporary in character. When it is said(verse 15),"He shall crush thy head", it means something more than a skull of bone, and brain, and hair. It means that all satan's plans and plots, policy and purposes, will one day be finally crushed and ended, never more to mar or to hinder the purposes of God. This will be effected when satan shall be bruised under our feet (Rom 16:20). This again, will not be our literal feet, but something much more real. The bruising of Christ's heel is the most eloquent and impressive way of foretelling the most solemn events; and to point out that the effort made by satan to evade his doom, then threatened, would become the very means of insuring its accomplishment; for it was through the death of Christ that he who had the power of death would be destroyed; and all satan's power and policy brought to an end, and all his works destroyed(Heb 2:14, 1John 3:8, Rev 20:1-3,10). Hope this helps further your understanding of the letter from the Father. Peace in Faith and Hope, Casiv |

Hi Cheri, I second witness to Magnum regarding the tree in Jer 10. Regarding women in the Bible, Deborah was a prophetess and a judge in Judges 4, Miriam in Exodus 15:20 was a prophetess, Huldah was a prophetess in 2KIngs 22:14 and there are more. checkout www.blueletterbible.com for a search tool. 32 | What does the word mean | Ps 91:1 | casiv | 23692
Hello Fire, I believe your question regarding Psalm 91:1 has to do with satans final rebellion ( a kind of storm ) in that particular verse. However the whole chapter 91, I believe is also about having faith in the Father that he will protect those who dwell in the secret place of the Lord during satans final rebellion and restore them when all is done(like in Job 42:10). Some good verses I believe to help with understanding the secret place is in Matt 6. I hope this helps. Psalm 91 is one of my favorite Psalms, thanks for the question. Peace, Casiv Matt 6:1 - Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father Which is in heaven. Matt 6:2 - Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Matt 6:3 - But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth: Matt 6:4 - That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father Which seeth in secret Himself shall reward thee openly. Matt 6:5 - And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward. Matt 6:6 - But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to the Father Which is in secret; and thy Father Which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly. Matt 6:7 - But when ye pray, use not vain repititions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking. Matt 6:8 - Be not ye therefore like unto them: for you Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask Him. KJV |

34 | MEANING OF 40CHAPTER V 11? | Isaiah | casiv | 20721
Dear bcollins, After reading this thread, I don't believe your question was ever answered. Here is the structure of what you have asked. Hope this helps. Peace. Isa 40:1-11 The voice from the wilderness, the gathering.(Introversion) verse 1,2 is Comfort for Jerusalem. Iniquity gone. verse 3-5 is The voice. Jehovah's work. Glorious. verse 6-8 is The voice. Jehovah's word. Eternal. verse 9-11 is Comfort for Zion. Adonai Jehovah come. This chapter commences a new Prophecy and follows that in Isa 34:1-35:10, after the historic episode of chs. 36-38. It will be seen that it forms an intrical part of the prophet Isaiah's book, as this member forms a perfect Correspondence with chapter 6 and cannot be wrenched from it without destroying the whole. |

35 | Isai 41:2 referring to Christ or Cyrus? | Isaiah | casiv | 20724
Jaybird, After reviewing this thread the gentlemen before me must be corrected. In Isaiah 41:2 "the righteous man from the east": i.e. Abraham. Compare Cyrus raised up from the north in Isa. 41:25. Isa 41:25 "raised up from the north: i.e. Cyrus. Compare Abraham(the other type was "from the east" verse 2). This prohecy was made 137 years before its fulfillment. Compare Isa 44:28 and Isa 45:1 Structure as follows: Isaiah 41:1-29 Types (Division) Extended Alternation Isa 41:1-20 Abraham. From the East(vs. 2). Past Isa 41:20-29 Cyrus. From the North(vs.25). Future The man from the east is neither Christ or Cyrus but is Abraham. Peace. Casiv |

36 | Does God uses people to phophecy | Isaiah | casiv | 20726
Dear Towanda, Malachi was the last book of the Old Testament and the last prophet. There are no more prophets. If anyone says they are a prophet they are a fake. Malachi. In Hebrew means My messenger, relating to the five messengers in this book of Malachi. (1) Malachi himself(1:1); (2)the true Priest(2:7); (3)John the Baptist(3:1-); (4)the Messiah Himself(3:-1-3); (5)Elijah (4:5). This last prohecy introduces the great fulfillment of Jehovah's prophecy by Moses, the first prophet to Israel, in Deut. 18:15-19. Compare Acts 3:18-26 and Acts 7:37. I hope this helps you understand, there are no more prophets in the world today and if they say they are then they are a fake. Peace, Casiv. |

37 | how can we abide under the wings | Isaiah | casiv | 20729
Hi Scotty W, One would think you are referring to Psalm 91:4 which says: Psalm 91:4 He shall cover thee with His feathers, And under His wings shalt thou trust: His truth shall be thy shield and buckler In order to abide under the wings it seems you must understand His truth, which is His Word. Why you need a shield can be found in the Gospel Armour of Ephesians 6:11-6:17. You must have Gospel Armour on to stand against the wiles of the devil which are explained in Ephesians 4:14. In simple terms one must seek the Fathers will and righteousness which is done by reading the letter that He wrote you, which is the Bible and seek to understand the word with all sincerity of your heart.A good place to start is with the parable of the sower in Matt 13, because Jesus said if you don't understand this parable, you won't understand the rest. If you don't understand at first, it's ok,because neither did His disciples. May the Love of Jesus show you the way. Peace, Casiv. |

38 | Who is Lucifer/ why was heson of morning | Isaiah | casiv | 20730
Dear Profit4hymn, Rev 22:16 "I Jesus have sent Mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright and morning Star." Did you know that Jesus is also called a morning Star? And Jesus and satan sang together? Job 38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy. Did satan make cain kill Abel? I think he influenced cain because: 1 John 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother. 1 John 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. 1 John 3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous. I believe satan would go to and fro from the earth to heaven as it says in Job. Job 2:2 And the Lord said unto satan,"From whence comest thou?" And satan answered the Lord, and said," From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it." But now I believe Jesus defeated the death which is the devil. Hebrews 2:14 For as much then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; Upon defeat, I believe the devil is locked up until an appointed time, but he will be back. Rev 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the deviland satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time." Rev 12:13 And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child. This is why we all must read the Bible and put on the Gospel Armour of Ephesians 6:11-17 so that we can stand against the wiles of the devil which are explained in Ephesians 4:14. The Truth is your sword, which is the Word. The King of Babylon is a type of antichrist. I am not trying to scare you, just share with you regarding the things you have asked. Do not believe me or any man without reading and checking it out for yourself.(See Jeremiah 17:5) I hope this answers your questions. Peace in Faith and Hope, Casiv |
