642 | SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!! | Mark 12:31 | azurelaw | 216862
Dear Jessica, Give him Mark 12:31, but read also verse 30. Is he a believer? Are you a beleiver? If yes, go, get married. You are not husband and wife in the eyes of God, but a man and a woman committing adultery. Your boyfriend claimed that you are "some what married" because of your sexual relationship. Understand that "some what" means not true. If he wants to follow what the Bible teaches, make yourselves truly as husband and wife under God's standard. You have shown him Eph 5:22-33. He should take note on verse 25 as well. Corinthians 7, Colossian 3 and 1 Peter 3 talk about the duty of both husband and wife. Since you are not his wife and he isn't your husband, what does he have to do with the verse concerning the relationship between husband and wife? Let me go back to Mark 12:31, I would ask him if he is also willing to be treated by you or others like a slave? He cannot use the verse that seemingly favour him. Both of you, please repent of your sin and stop the sexual relationship. Get married if you truly love each other. Shalom Azure |

643 | Hello and thank you azurelaw | Mark 12:31 | azurelaw | 216864
Dear Jessica, Could you (or ask him to) please show me which book, chapter and verse your boyfriend was referring to? You mentioned "he says that a marriage license and etc. Is what the devil wanted." Ask him to show you the Bible verse to prove this notion. You still have not answered my question : are you (both) believers? Shalom Azure P.S. When you reply, just hit on the "note" (not the "question") so that your post would not be shown on the primary question section but on the lower part of the screen where answered posts are followed up. |

647 | How would a woman bleed for 12 ? | Luke | azurelaw | 212853
Dear crosseyed, Welcome to the forum. According to tradition Jewish belief, illness and afflictions, etc. are usually considered as the consequence of sin or punishment on the person who sinned. Read John 9:2 and the conversation between Job and his friends in the Book of Job. As for the case of the bleeding woman, there is no articulation of the detail in the Bible concerning the physical or spiritual cause. Shalom Azure |

650 | can i pray for God to help me win a trip | Luke | azurelaw | 237809
Dear Jessie, The Bible does not specifically answer such a question for there was no such thing as Disney world in the time of Bible:-) I would encourage you to read Luke chapter 12. You have to understand that we are taught to fix our mind on God's will instead of things that satisfies our own desire. God concerns much if we bear spiritual fruit for His Glory and He is also extremely gracious to give us what we NEED. Shalom Azure |

652 | At what point was Jesus conceieved | Luke 1:31 | azurelaw | 197951
Dear Bearer, Welcome to the forum and have a blessed Christmas. By comparing verse 36 "...even your relative Elizabeth HAS also CONCEIVED a son..." with verse 31 "you WILL CONCEIVE in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus.", it is very likely that Mary conceived Jesus after Gabriel had spoken to her and before her visiting Elizabeth. Shalom Azure |

653 | # of inns visited before Jesus' birth | Luke 2:7 | azurelaw | 218617
Dear Godzgurl, Bible doen't say. The number of inns hold no weight in the message. The key is that God the Son humbles himself for our salvation as we see in verses: Luke 9:58 Phil 2:6-8 Isaiah 53 By the way, may I ask "How old are you?" Shalom Azure |

Dear lovesam, Luke 1:1-4, 2:51-52, 3:23 From what has been recorded in the scriptures, it would be reasonable to surmise that Jesus lives with His earthly parents in Nazareth between the ages of 12 and 30. Shalom Azure |

Dear Chrisatissac, Sister(?, I guess), I think it is more appropriate for you to seek advice from pastor, elders or godly women at your church. However, I have a few points to make. 1/ Jesus asked us to love even our enemies, what should be the measure of love to take when the one against us is our relatives. 2/ From what you described, you are citing some past events (I think you had been severely hurt) which I can sense your BITTERNESS. That is not good. We cannot love anyone with bitterness in our heart. Bitterness also blinds our sight to know God's will. 3/ Yes, you are right. How can you love someone without a relationship (or link) with him/her! This is your trial. 4/ Please let God's Word speak to you first. I am afraid I did not help much. I will keep you in my prayers, dear Chrisatissac. Shalom Azure |
