21 | Did Jesus,God,die at the crucifition | Phil 2:5 | armond888 | 183406
God is Immortal - He Can never die. Jesus served as a man and that is why He often refered to Himself as the Son of MAN. He had to live sinlessly as a man to be a sacrifice for man Phil 2:5 Have this attitude in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus, Phil 2:6 who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, Phil 2:7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. Phil 2:8 Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Luke 12:10 "And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him. If Jesus was walking in HIS Divinity then anyone saying anything against HIM would be commiting Blasphemy |

22 | Is this refering to the law of love? | James 4:11 | armond888 | 129296
We must not confuse our Christian responsibility to hold one another accountable with the references written in the epistle of James.. As Christians it is essential that we judge the moral conduct of fellow believers in order to maintain the integrity of the church (Body of Christ).. 1 Cor 5:11 But now I write to you not to associate with anyone who bears the name of [Christian] brother if he is known to be guilty of immorality or greed, or is an idolater [whose soul is devoted to any object that usurps the place of God], or is a person with a foul tongue [railing, abusing, reviling, slandering], or is a drunkard or a swindler or a robber. [No] you must not so much as eat with such a person. 1 Cor 5:12 What [business] of mine is it and what right have I to judge outsiders? Is it not those inside [the church] upon whom you are to pass disciplinary judgment [passing censuring sentence on them as the facts require]? 1 Cor 5:13 God alone sits in judgment on those who are outside. Drive out that wicked one from among you [expel him from your church]. However we must recognize that we are given guidelines for judging and or for handling offenses..these guidlines are as follows Matt 18:15 If your brother wrongs you, go and show him his fault, between you and him privately. If he listens to you, you have won back your brother. Matt 18:16 But if he does not listen, take along with you one or two others, so that every word may be confirmed and upheld by the testimony of two or three witnesses. Matt 18:17 If he pays no attention to them [refusing to listen and obey], tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, let him be to you as a pagan and a tax collector Yes 1Cor 13:5 says love does not take into account a suffered wrong... But that is only after there is repentence for that wrong.. Psa 7:11, God judgeth the righteous, and God is angry [with the wicked] every day. ... Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent, and each of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. |

23 | being accountable for hearing the truth | 2 Pet 2:20 | armond888 | 137573
2 Pet 2:20 For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world by the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and are overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first. 2 Pet 2:21 For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them. 2 Pet 2:22 It has happened to them according to the true proverb, "A DOG RETURNS TO ITS OWN VOMIT," and, "A sow, after washing, returns to wallowing in the mire." |

24 | does sin change Gods plan? | Rev 2:1 | armond888 | 120217
Rev 2:21 'I gave her time to repent, and she does not want to repent of her immorality Notice the Lord at His discretion may choose to give you time to repent.. because of His love and long suffering.. He does not want any to perish but all to come to repentence. 1 John 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Please notice the emphasis is on practicing sin .. that means over and over again.. If this immorality is habitual and you truly want to stop but can not..you may need deliverance, through the process of prayer and or fasting until the yoke is broken.. If you do this and your conscience does not convict you.. then you have a far more serious problem.. Prov 29:1 A man who hardens his neck after much reproof Will suddenly be broken beyond remedy. The neck in this instance relates to the will.. and means if you willfully refuse to admit..confess and turn from your sin.. over time of being told over and over again to repent.. God will destroy you.. |
