They are one God in three persons. I know this is hard to understand but if you do a study of the words God, Jesus and Holy Spirit when you study a book of the bible you will see the relationship of the three. Mark each one in different colors throughout the book and then write out each verse, first God, Jesus and then Holy Spirit. The bible will come alive as you see each one. Since you used the book of John, try using this book and do one chapter. When you see how wonderful it is you will want to do the second chapter and so on until you finish the book of John. It is fascinating how you get a different perspective on each one when you focus your attention this way. It allows you to slow down and really meditate on it. You could spend an entire week or more just meditating on the one chapter. Prayer is essential so start with prayer and ask the Lord to open your eyes so you may understand his glorious truths and ultimately to know Him better. He is a wonderful Lord and I pray that you will grow in the grace and knowledge of Him. May God bless you and Merry Christmas.Luke 1:30 The angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 299 | Don't bring out past sins scripture? | Prov 17:9 | Val | 197713 | ||
Use this opportunity to witness for Christ Jesus. He has told us that if we confess our sins He is faithful to forgive us our sins and remember them no more. Tell this person or persons that the Lord promised to forgive you if you ask Him to and that is what you did. Tell them what you did was wrong and you have asked for forgiveness and the Lord has forgiven you. No more explanation is needed other than that. It is a sad fact that some people will never forgive us for our sins and that is a consequence we have to live with, but with Christ Jesus He has promised to help us to live through it with the power of His Holy Spirit. Ask for strength and wisdom and peace from Him. He is the One to whom we are responsible. May God Bless you and Merry Christmas. Isaiah 1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are as scarlet, They will be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They will be like wool.
