Luke 22:19 does say how Jesus instituted the new covenant and told his disciples to keep doing that observance in remembrance of him. However I often wonder why Jesus birth is not recorded specifically in the Bible and with that being the case why is it celebrated when Jesus did not ask us to? | ||||||

This would refer to gifts of supernatural ability given by holy spirit to individuals. Notice in the context of 1 corinthians chapter 12 that Paul is speaking to members of the Corinthian christian congregation and the b part of the scripture says "for a beneficial purpose". The reference for 12:2 is chapter 14:26 which gives the manifestation or show. It says "when you come together one has a psalm,another has a teaching,another has a revelation....let all things take place for building up. So these gifts given by God through His holy spirit were to be used in a matter he chose..is in the congregation. | ||||||

The reference for Genesis 6:2,3 at 2Peter 2:4 where it says: Certainly God did not refrain from punishing the angels who sinned... This is the most clear definition of who were being spoken of in Genesis chapter 6. Going by the context of chapter 6 the Nephilim were the sons of the angels who disobeyed. |
