290 | The Lord has need of them or it | Matt 21:7 | Morant61 | 185562
Greetings Dpoag! To put it simply, it is perfectly legitimate to mention only one donkey, even if there were two. Mark and Luke have every right to focus only on the donkey that Christ rode upon if they choose to do so. No historical account includes every possible detail. For some reason, Matthew decided to focus upon both donkeys. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

291 | Does Zech 9 indicate one or two donkeys? | Matt 21:7 | Morant61 | 185508
Greetings Dpoag! As Doc already mentioned, Hebrew poetry made extensive use of parallelisms. So, Zech. 9:9 is only referring to one donkey, the colt. Matthew's account agrees with Zech. 9:9 as Jesus only rides the colt, even though the mother comes along with the foal. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

292 | Why does Matthew indicate two donkeys? | Matt 21:7 | Morant61 | 185504
Greetings Dpoag! This is a good example of someone at Wikipedia not doing their homework. :-) The 'them' of Mt. 21:7 does not refer to the donkey and the foal, but to the clothes (plural) that were placed upon the animals. Matthew is not claiming that Jesus rode two animals! He is saying that Jesus sat upon the clothes that were placed upon the animals. The other Gospels make it clear that He only rode the foal. 293 | why was joseph Forgotton? | NT general Archive 1 | Morant61 | 185451
Greetings! The focus in the Gospel is upon Jesus, not His family. Even Mary is only mentioned a handful of times. Some have speculated that Joseph may have died early on in Jesus' childhood or at least by the time that His public ministry began. However, we simply do not know. Nor do we know how and when Mary died. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

294 | A church that does not practice tongues | Bible general Archive 3 | Morant61 | 185411
Greetings Godselect! There are plenty of Church's which fit this criteria! However, there are also plenty of Christians who would differ with your position on pastors and tongues. But, if you differ with them, simply find one of the many churches that would agree with your position. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

296 | Did God visit the Isrealites camp? | Ex 20:19 | Morant61 | 185328
Greetings Jcollinsj2! The only reference that I could think of is found in Ex. 20:18-21: "When the people saw the thunder and lightning and heard the trumpet and saw the mountain in smoke, they trembled with fear. They stayed at a distance 19 and said to Moses, ‘‘Speak to us yourself and we will listen. But do not have God speak to us or we will die.” 20 Moses said to the people, ‘‘Do not be afraid. God has come to test you, so that the fear of God will be with you to keep you from sinning.” 21 The people remained at a distance, while Moses approached the thick darkness where God was." Earlier, in chapter 19, God speaks of the limits placed so that the Israelites would not get to close and die. I hope this helps! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

299 | Where was Paul... | Acts | Morant61 | 185323
Greetings Maaghouse! Scripture never says whether or not Paul was present when Jesus was crucified. One could assume that he probably was a part of the group of Pharisee's plotting against Jesus since Paul was active in the arrest of Christians shortly after the death of Christ. But, this would only be an assumption. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

300 | The radiace on the face of Moses. | Ex 34:34 | Morant61 | 185321
Greetings Miekel! Scripture does not say how long this radiance lasted, but based on Ex. 34:34-35, it would seem to have been for some time. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
