1 | Where should I turn?????? | Bible general Archive 2 | Shirley Ujest | 154438
May God bless your honesty and humility. You are wiser than your 14 years. There should be and is only one true religion that worships the true God as he deserves and requires. Every other religion is false and dishonors him. The true religion is Christianity, but the not the apostate version practiced by the majority. Counterfeit Christianity twists the teachings in mankind's oldest religious book, the Bible, and the results are hatred and division and violence. Don't give up, but pray earnestly for God to draw you to his servants. Who knows, perhaps one will knock at your door? |

2 | Blood of unsaved on us if we don't share | 1 Cor 9:16 | Shirley Ujest | 154402
1 Cor 9:16 Also Matt 28:19,20, the Great Commission, applies to all true disciples of Christ, as the verses show. Thus, when Jesus states his denunciation at Matt 7:21-23, he is including those that refuse to 'obey all the things he commanded them.' What to preach and teach is another issue. The consequences for teaching false doctrines are equally as dire as refusing to do so at all. Hope this helps. |

3 | How can the medium contact the dead? | 1 Samuel | Shirley Ujest | 154371
This was not Samuel but a demon. God will not violate his own commandments. (See Deut 18:11.) If you read this account carefully, you even see that Saul himself, in obedience to this command, had attempted to rid the land of spirit mediums (1 Sam 28:3), but now he resorts to this pagan practice. Surely, the God that did not spare his only begotten in order to satisfy his perfect justice, did not violate his own law in this case.
4 | Please Clarify. | 1 John 5:7 | Shirley Ujest | 154369
Better late than never: Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God's wrath remains on him." According to Strong's Concordance, "believes" translates from the Greek "pisteuo." "Rejects" translates from the Greek "apeitho" meaning "to refuse belief and obedience." The two words derive from separate root words. Thus, my point is that belief without obedience won't cut it with the "Reader of Hearts." I'm sure you already know and believe this, so I was surprised at the need for clarification. |

5 | What is the AKJV? | 1 John 5:7 | Shirley Ujest | 152908
The AKJV is the Authorized King James Version. Jesus clarified that believing he is God's son is not sufficient for salvation at John 3:36. |
